Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm – Winston Churchill
There are many definitions of success and perhaps numerous other ways to describe it. But this is as real as it gets something which reader will be able to relate to.
I am yet to meet a person who tasted success before at least 1 failure, no matter how small or big it is. From the smallest things in life to the biggest achievement, success is undoubtedly the final destination.
You are searching for some information on google but keep opening up pages which do not have something you are looking for. After 3 different searches and opening 10 different pages, when you finally find what you are looking for, that is also success because you spent time and effort looking for something and you finally “succeeded” in finding it.
You a dream or a goal and you work hard towards achieving it. Maybe it took longer than you imagined to reach there. But when you finally succeeded, you know it was worth it.
Failure has a huge part to play in success. This is not to say that one should absolutely always fail before succeeding. However, more the failure you face on your path, sweeter will be the success and longer it lingers within your soul, and you will probably cherish it longer than usual.
Another significance of failure is the face you indeed learn more from failures than you actually think. No one really spends time on thinking about what the failure taught them. And understandably, most of us simply try to find a different solution and rack our brains on the contingency plans we all usually make in the event of failure. It is okay to hit the pause button, wait a moment, analyze what went wrong. What went wrong may not help you but maybe it can give you an opportunity to help someone who shares a goal same as you. Being a part of someone else’s success is not as common as it sounds. Knowing that you are also one of the reason of someone’s success and happiness will breath a new life in to you. If and when you ever fail, don’t lose hope or be afraid to learn how and why you failed.
One does not need to see reports or statistics to know how many people meet with failures on their paths. Sometimes it takes more efforts, hard-work, time, energy and sometimes it takes some help and contributions from other people.
If you ever aim to succeed at something, always be ready to face failure because “Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm” and Winston Churchill couldn’t have been more right.
Mindset: The New Psychology of Success is a highly recommended book on success which focuses on the psychology and how someone’s approach towards their goals can drastically influence its success.
